Experiment Programming Library for Linux

Python Experiment Programming Library (PyEPL)

This is a beta version of our new experiment programming library. It is used with the Python programming language. Presently, it supports Linux and Mac OS X.

Experiment Programming Library (EPL) for Linux

Our lab is involved in an ongoing project of creating a library of object oriented C++ routines which can simplify the process of constructing memory and cognition experiments.

We also have an older version for DOS. This library is designed to make optimal use of current graphics, audio, and timing on Intel-MS-DOS based systems. Experiments can also be run within a DOS shell under Windows95™. In addition to basic video output, keyboard input, and timing routines, the library includes functions for audio recording and playback using a Creative Labs SoundBlaster 16 or AWE-32 sound card.

Behavioural Sound Parsing Program

The following links are files necessary to install the parse program that used to be part of the EPL library. Note: The latest version requires the FFTW sound libraries be installed prior to the parse program.
