High-temporal resolution movie of HFA during memory encoding (50% real-time speed). For all 341 time windows, all spherical regions that exhibited a significant (permutation procedure; 10,000 iterations; FDR corrected for multiple comparisons; q = 0.05) change in power with successful memory encoding are displayed on a standardized three-dimensional brain. Increases and decreases in power are shown in red and blue, respectively. The color scale reflects the percentage of nearby ROIs exhibiting identical encoding-related effects. The horizontal dashed line on the sagittal views corresponds to the level of the axial cut in the third panel (the z = -13.0 plane in Talairach space). Grayscale rendering represents the percentage of spherical regions surrounding a given location with at least five patients. Time window were sequentially concatenated at a frame rate of 50 frames-per-second to create a movie corresponding to 50% of real-time speed.

Supplemental Video 1

High-temporal resolution movie of HFA during memory encoding (50% real-time speed). For all 341 time windows, all spherical regions that exhibited a significant (permutation procedure; 10,000 iterations; FDR corrected for multiple comparisons; q = 0.05) change in power with successful memory encoding are displayed on a standardized three-dimensional brain. Increases and decreases in power are shown in red and blue, respectively. The color scale reflects the percentage of nearby ROIs exhibiting identical encoding-related effects. Grayscale rendering represents the percentage of spherical regions surrounding a given location with at least five patients. Time window were sequentially concatenated at a frame rate of 50 frames-per-second to create a movie corresponding to 50% of real-time speed.

Supplemental Video 2

High-temporal resolution movie of HFA during memory encoding (25% real-time speed). Identical to Supplemental Movie S1, however the frame rate was set to 25 frames-per-second, which corresponds to 25% of real-time speed.
