The Computational Memory Lab at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking to recruit a senior programmer to lead software development for an R&D team creating a cognitive neural prosthetic device for a multi center DoD project. He/she will interact with senior project personnel to develop software libraries for the creation of real-time cognitive tasks and electrophysiological signal processing and real-time closed-loop control systems. Cognitive tasks will include both verbal and spatial memory games, including VR tasks utilizing custom and third-party 3D gaming systems. The successful applicant will also develop software and libraries for technical computing on a high-speed computing cluster. This position may also include supervisory responsibility for other programmers on the team.
